The Sherman Area

Take a break from your road trip, sneak in a quick getaway, or take care of business at our updated hotel near the south edge of Lake Texoma. One night’s sleep in a comfy bed decked with pillows and quality linens will leave you refreshed and ready for a new day. Spacious guest rooms are spotless and quiet, with room darkening curtains. Our convenient location at the junction of Highways 75 and 82 is adjacent to restaurants and near shopping. It’s also proximate to area colleges, hospitals, and businesses and just over an hour north of Dallas. Enjoy free Bright Side Breakfast® with a view into a pretty garden and inviting outdoor pool. Wi-Fi is free and pets are welcome.

This northeastern Texas region grew into a transportation crossroads and center for commerce, education, and recreation beginning in the mid 1800’s. Our hotel is just north of downtown Sherman, a stop on The Butterfield Overland Mail Trail east-west stage coach route. Today the historic town offers performing arts, museums, and antique shopping, and planes fly out of the Grayson County and Sherman Municipal airports. The colleges of Austin and Grayson County, Wilson Jones and Texas Presbyterian hospitals, and Texoma Cancer Center are all a few miles from the hotel. Also nearby are Sherman Industrial Park, Texas Instruments, Globitech, and other major businesses. Fifteen miles north of the hotel Lake Texoma attracts outdoor and sports enthusiasts with parks, golf, and boating and fishing.

Hotel Services and Amenities

After a long day on the road or around town you’ll find what you need in our remodeled rooms – a great night’s sleep in a quiet retreat with a comfortable bed and pillow choices. Or unwind first in the easy chair with an HD channel playing on the new flat-panel TV. Start your day by sipping a cup of coffee before coming down to a free Bright Side Breakfast facing a view of the verdant courtyard and pool. The buffet serves hot Texas-shaped waffles, muffins, and bread. For lighter options choose fresh fruit, yogurt, or hot and cold cereal. Business travelers are productive with a personal in-room work station and free Wi-Fi. Additional services include laundry and meeting facilities, outdoor pool, and fitness center.
